Hi, I’m Kelly.

I‘m a designer and creative strategist with a passion for captivating audiences with incredibly valuable and delightfully entertaining content and experiences.

My career has been largely focused on graphic and user experience design. I also have considerable experience developing and extending design systems, whether for communications or way finding. A few professional notes of which I am very proud:

• I am a partner in Write Design Group, which focuses on clear and accessible writing and design.
• I led the Indiana University’s alumni marketing team for nearly a decade to produce award-winning publications and creative material in support of the Indiana University’s engagement mission.
• I have experience working with a broad range of industries, including: higher education, secondary education, nonprofit/fundraising, real estate, religious organizations, retail, technology, and training.

Outside of design, I like chitchat and coffee — I’ve played Scrabble every week since 2007 with a local group of artists, gentle vandals, and rabble rousers. Above all, I enjoy making things. Winter, 2023 was all about potholders. This summer, I moved outdoors to tend my vegetable and zinnia gardens and to battle the deer and chipmunk army. (Thank you, Wireless Deer Fence, for saving my flowers!) As fall approaches, you’ll find me in a canoe or contemplating throwing pots.
